I love fall :) The kiddos had their fall break this last Friday and so we decided to take advantage of it and have a "fall fun" day! So here's a few glimpses into our day (and weekend).
First, we started off with the ever-so-classic pumpkin painting. They actually prefer that to carving (well most of them anyways...and who am I kidding....I do too!). And here's the final result:
A zombie, a panda, and the Black Panther. Bet you can't guess whose is whose! Ha!
On Saturday, we got to help out at our church's annual Fall Block Party. It's a fun-filled afternoon of more pumpkin painting, face painting, cider & donuts, outdoor games, a bounce house, and of course a hay ride! The kiddos dressed up for the occasion too.
Chewbacca, The Black Panther, and Cleopatra graced us with their presence. They had a lot of fun :)
And of course, one of us had to participate in a pumpkin pie eating contest. And no surprise here....it was our kid who's love language is all things food. He didn't win, but came in pretty close. He was up against some junior high and high school students too. That kid can definitely hold his own and will be a force to reckon with some day!
