I was 16 years old when my life took a violent turn. No one expects to hear the word cancer...and especially when you're so young. But nonetheless, that diagnosis was the beginning of a lifetime of trials but also the beginning of miraculous glimpses of our beautiful Savior. 

Given 5 years to live and the impossibility of having children, because of the treatments, things looked pretty bleak for me.

But God.

I love those words. They have been the common denominator throughout my entire journey. God had other plans and has worked miracle upon miracle throughout my entire journey. I've had three different types of cancer at six different times over the last 20 years.God has continued to show His faithfulness throughout that journey, and did so again as he moved my husband and I into vocational ministry. This is the story He has given me, as He has used it all to bring so much glory to Himself and to work all things together for good. 

Because of this, He has given me a desire to share this miraculous journey as long as I have breath in my lungs. It is truly an honor to share what an amazing God He is and the hope that is found only in the saving grace of Jesus Christ, by using His word and the story He has given me!
